With profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother Audrey in her 92nd year. Born in Montreal, she spent her early years before moving to the family farm in Berwick, Ontario. After high school, she moved to Kingston where she graduated as a RNA. She worked at the Chedoke Sanatorium until she married our late father Joe Perkins. Together they started their family, beginning with son Bill and then 3 years later Linda (Scott). Once her children started school, Mom had a successful career as a manager of Ladies’ Fashion until retiring from Sears in 1990. In 1989, Mom became “Muma” to her granddaughter Sarah and her grandson Nicholas, who arrived 2 years later. Her grandchildren were showered with her love, time, and attention. Mom traveled extensively, and spent many years wintering in Bradenton, Florida. She enjoyed square dancing and euchre at service clubs. She was independent, living on her own and driving until she was 90. In heaven, Mom’s dance card is full between our father Joe and her other loving friends: Angelo Albano, Wilf Rogers, and Joe Fleishmann. She leaves behind her loving family, good friend Joyce, and Nickie and George. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital & St. Joseph’s Villa – Maple Grove. Mom is interred at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

The Perkins family will celebrate her privately.
