Gate of Heaven Cemetery
Opened in 1983, the forested areas around Gate of Heaven Cemetery are at their best in the fall, when towering maple, oak and birch trees change colour, but any season is beautiful at this cemetery located at Old York Road and Snake Road in Burlington.
Resting within the cemetery are members of the School Sisters of Notre Dame and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny. A number of local parishes have sections set aside for members of their community.

Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum
Located in the beautiful Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery on Old York Road, Our Lady of Peace mausoleum opened in 2009. It features a chapel for committal services, single and double crypts, and niches for cremated remains.
Visiting Hours
November-March: 8:00am - 6:00pm, April-October: 8:00am - 8:00pm
We offer many ways to honour and remember your loved one.
A variety of upright and flat grave markers are available for purchase. We can also assist you with adding inscription to existing memorials.
Other memorial options include vigil lamps, vases, benches, trees, ceramic photos, and glass front niche decorations.
The Catholic Church believes that cremated human remains must be afforded the same respect as the non-cremated body, and placed in a dignified container. In keeping with this belief, we offer a variety of cremation urns for purchase.
