When Jean and Henry Geberlein’s daughter, Wendy, died suddenly of cancer in 2010, their friend, local lawyer Ron Henry, stepped in to help them make arrangements for her funeral and burial.

Wendy’s cremated remains were interred in St. Joseph Cemetery in Acton, and Jean purchased two lots for future family use. She also purchased a memorial bench inscribed with her daughter’s name.

“Everything about the service we received was top-notch, including the follow up,” Ron says. “It was all channeled through cemeterian Dominic Tersigni and he really knows his stuff.”

The peaceful surroundings of St. Joseph Cemetery helped bring some comfort to the family. “I love St. Joseph’s because it’s a real country cemetery, not overly manicured,” Ron says. “It has a real sense of history and rusticity to it.”

Making Arrangements

Making your cemetery arrangements in advance is both practical and caring—it reduces the immediate stress on your survivors at the time of your death. It also ensures that your wishes will be followed.

Our family counselors and cemeterians do not work on commission and have no vested interest in what you purchase. Learn more about planning without pressure.
